They're acting crazy
This is our third time here and it's always closed even though Google says it's open.
Two weeks ago it said it was closed May and June.
Another picture.
In the meantime they added July and August.
And after an hour of driving we were again in front of closed doors.
Nearby, 13 minutes up the hill, we found a very good Guachinche
Bodega Cha Juana
They are very good and worth a visit.

A 30-minute drive. According to Google Maps, it's open. We arrived at the door of what appeared to be the guachinche (a traditional Canarian eatery). There was a dilapidated sign, barely legible, that read "Closed May and June." It's July. My face was a picture. There was no information on Google Maps, and we'll never know if it will reopen. We don't expect to return if we have another option.

It's a classic guachinche (traditional Canarian eatery). They have a very good house wine. The food is good, the menu is limited but tasty. There's parking, but the entrance isn't well signposted.

Authentic Guachinche with spectacular food, the best mojo picón I've tasted in Tenerife, casserole with goat meat in sauce, chickpea casserole, grilled cheese, all delicious, and the service was spectacular.

15 stars for the best Guachinche in Tenerife.
Beneath the stunning green mountains of Guimar, you can breathe the pure air of home... the friendliness and smile of the gentleman who kindly let us try the steak with exquisite (artisanal) honey, the speed of the service, and the quality of the food, truly delicious.
You eat in the garden, with beautiful, sweet kittens keeping you company.
The peace, the fresh air, and the homely atmosphere fill your heart with joy and your belly with food made wit… See more
