We arrived at 6:30 pm, because you have to arrive early. We ordered four small plates of appetizers, wine, and soft drinks. At 8:30 pm, as we were finishing our meal, a man approached us and told us we'd been sitting there for two hours without ordering anything. He said we'd arrived before they even opened and that we had to leave because he was losing business with us. We were stunned. Ten minutes later, we decided to leave. We asked for the bill, which, by the way, they tell you verbally—I don't understand that. As we were leaving, we asked who this supposed character was, and the owner told us he was nobody and to ignore him, saying he was supposedly drunk. To our surprise, there were free tables, and he came back again to say the same thing: that we'd been there for two hours without ordering anything, even though we'd already eaten, and that he was a regular customer while we'd only been there one day. The surprising thing is that the owner didn't say a word to him. So, in short, we paid and told the owner that once was enough, that he could keep the supposed drunk guy. Be careful if you're there and he's around because he'll keep track of the minutes and hours you've been sitting. He's doing the business a disservice; it's the first time this has happened to me. What a great find! Authentic Canarian food with excellent wine and friendly, welcoming service. Go when you're not in a hurry; they don't take reservations and you need to bring cash! Highly recommended, a must-visit!
