That watercress stew with gofio, oh my goodness!!!, that incredible Escalón, that SPECTACULAR goat meat, the delightful surprise of combining an exquisite jam made with the finest tomatoes with the island's cheeses, not to mention the amazing stuffed potatoes and many other dishes we'll try another time, all washed down with good Tenerife wine, and homemade desserts made with love, made our gastronomic experience of typical Canarian cuisine a true delight.

Finally, you order your delicious coffee, which is a real surprise... But I'll leave that for you to discover for yourselves. Enjoy!

Locals recommended it to us. It was a great find. Typical homemade island food, and absolutely delicious. The goat in sauce was spectacular. We couldn't have dessert, but they looked good. 100% recommended.

Very peaceful place with very friendly staff. The food is clearly homemade and delicious, plus the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. If we return to Tenerife, we would definitely visit again. 10 out of 10!

A place I would definitely recommend. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is excellent. We recommend the chickpea stew, the fish croquettes, and the tuna in mojo sauce. We weren't as keen on the stuffed potatoes. The coffee is beautifully presented and very inexpensive (they only offer…

A place I would definitely recommend. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is excellent. We recommend the chickpea stew, the fish croquettes, and the tuna in mojo sauce. We weren't as keen on the stuffed potatoes. The coffee is beautifully presented and very inexpensive (they only offer black coffee or coffee with milk).

A guachinche is a type of traditional establishment in the Canary Islands, especially in Tenerife, where homemade Canarian food is served along with their own harvest wine.

Guachinches specialize in traditional Canarian homemade food, with dishes like wrinkled potatoes, gofio, local cheeses, goat meat, rabbit and fresh fish.

Guachinches offer a family and authentic atmosphere, away from mass tourism, where you can enjoy true Canarian hospitality.
