It's difficult to get there without a car, but if you do have one, there's a small parking area. We were greeted politely, but they seated us in a sort of "room" because there was no space outside. Another couple had the same experience and complained as well. We ordered the eggs with ham and the sirloin steak (half a portion). The sirloin was incredibly dry and tasteless. As for the eggs, well, they're not that hard to cook properly. When we arrived, they brought us bread and a sauce. We were tourists and didn't realize that if you don't specify that you don't want it, they charge you for it even if you haven't touched it. We were shocked to pay €2 for bread we hadn't even smelled. They also gave us a full portion of the sirloin steak when we paid. We said it was a half portion, and they told us they'd served us a full one (we had ordered a half portion), so they acknowledged the mistake and charged us for half. That was fine, but I have to say, if a full portion was four tiny pieces, imagine what a half portion was like! That's why we didn't even realize it was a full portion. I wouldn't recommend it, much to my regret. The menu is limited, the place is shabby, and the only redeeming quality is the staff.

We traveled from Santa Cruz and arrived at 1:20 PM, only to be told they only serve customers with reservations. So disappointing! You have to call and make a reservation, otherwise you waste your gas and your travel time.

The truth is that the place is very good and the service was average. We ordered several starters and they were quite good: fried eggs, salad, grilled cheese. But the mixed grill disappointed us; the meat was raw, and even though they brought it back, there were still raw pieces.

The grilled meat is exquisite; if you want a real guachinche, don't hesitate to go. Excellent service and a unique setting. Highly, highly recommended.
