Een guachinche is een type traditionele etablissement van de Canarische Eilanden, vooral op Tenerife, waar huisgemaakte Canarische kost wordt geserveerd samen met eigen wijn.
Guachinches specialiseren zich in traditionele huisgemaakte Canarische kost, met gerechten zoals papas arrugadas, gofio, lokale kazen, geitenvlees, konijn en verse vis.
Guachinches bieden een familiale en authentieke sfeer, weg van het massatoerisme, waar je kunt genieten van de echte Canarische gastvrijheid.

El Descarado bevindt zich in Carr. Enlace el Ramal, La Orotava, La Orotava, Tenerife. Het is gemakkelijk bereikbaar en heeft de typische charme van het gebied.

The food was delicious! I had a Tomahawk rice dish with mushrooms and piquillo peppers. I think the rice chef's name is Oscar. I stopped by the table to ask how everything was. Honestly, congratulations!

Disappointing. The cod with onions was ice cold inside, smothered in a broth with onions and peppers, and accompanied by stewed boiled potatoes. The goat meat consisted of bones with noticeably poor-quality pieces. In short, very disappointing. A shame, because the place has so much more potential.

Tenía mucha expectativa por ir , ya que siempre que pasaba por la autopista del norte lo veía llamativo… salvo la entrada que es un poco liosa y entiendo ahí no pueden hacer nada , la atención es correcta , la comida bien , PERO LOS POSTRES !!’ vamos a ver , entendí por qué el guachinche se llama…

El postre de la abuela , qué bien todos lo conocemos por ser un postre abundante , pues estos “descarados” te lo sirven en un cuenco de plástico (muy parecido a la tapa del helado Mc Frurry del Mc’Donals , donde LITERAL: Te ponen una galleta María mojada en café , crema de algo, más otra galleta María en café y por eso cobran 6 euros (el más caro de toda sus postres ) luego te dicen que es error de imprenta y que en verdad sale 4,50 (que sigue siendo muy caro para lo que es) es fin Sres , cuiden estos detalles porque es lo que suele cerrar la experiencia de comer ahí ! Y ya tendrán idea de cómo cerró mi experiencia !!!

I sat down to eat and the waiters ignored me and laughed at me and some of the other people there. Terrible guachinche. I don't recommend it; besides, the place was very dirty.

Excellent value for money. Javier's service was outstanding, with great recommendations. I recommend the tricolor cheese and the homemade croquettes, although everything is delicious ????
