We went expecting a delicious meal and it was a disaster.
The croquettes were oily and served on a bed of wilted lettuce.
The prawn and sweet potato timbale was acceptable.
The carne fiesta was the best dish, except for the potatoes, which desperately needed a change of oil.
And lastly, we ordered secreto, which wasn't Iberian pork, was very fatty, and wasn't fresh; it smelled bad. They did apologize for the secreto and offered us dessert on the house.

Diarrhea, canned chickpeas in broth in the supposed ropa vieja, dry bread that seemed days old, and over €30 for this experience. Very disappointing.

The only positive thing was the service from the two waiters, who were friendly and professional.

The ropa vieja seemed to be made with canned chickpeas, with little flavor and quite a lot of broth. The grilled cheese was extremely dry and bland. The green mojo sauce had an unpleasant sour smell and taste. The bread, besides being charged for, was burnt and so dry it was hard to swallow.

About an hour and a half after eating, we both had stomach problems, diarrhea, and nausea. Given the quality of the food and the price we paid, we won't be returning. It's a shame because the place is nice and has parking.… Voir plus

It has a large parking lot and plenty of space inside, with spacious tables and comfortable chairs. The decor is very Canarian patio-style, with hanging plants; at first, it seems welcoming. The staff were gathered together like a family gathering, which has a certain charm, like a grandmother's house, but if they would dedicate some time to cleaning the cobwebs from under the chairs and tables, removing outdated decorations, and giving it a fresh look, they would have a real opportunity to make it more inviting.

Then it was time for the food. The waiter was very attentive, but the cooks seemed practically lazy. We ordered the avocado stuffed with tuna and prawns. They tasted good, until we realized they came without tuna and with a hair in them. We didn't say anything, since this could happen to anyone. The ropa vieja was cooked well, the meat was cooked nicely, and there was a good amount, but it lacked flavor or care.

Up to that point, we were saying, "Oh well, it's just an odd day," but when the carne fiesta arrived...oh, what a disappointment. We ate almost all of it because we were hungry, but every now and then we had to taste a piece suspiciously marinated in wine, which left us with the obvious aftertaste of meat that was starting to go bad.

We had to go and find the staff in the kitchen so we could pay and finally leave.

Honestly, it's a place with a lot of potential. I'm aware that working with the public isn't easy. But they have the opportunity to reinvent themselves.… Voir plus

We ordered somillo and wanted it cooked over a wood fire, but it wasn't wood-fired, so the taste wasn't the same. The salad, which they advertise as a house salad, didn't have any of the usual ingredients. The staff was very friendly, but for the few tables they were serving, they forgot the drinks, and we had to remind them again. Otherwise, I have nothing else to add.
